As Director of God Behind Bars at Cross Point Church, Marissa has spent the past 11 years serving in vocational ministry with a recent passion for bringing the hope of Jesus and transformation to those behind bars. A Nashville resident for the past 20 years, her journey began in Florida, where she grew up and attended the University of Florida before moving to New York City to pursue musical theater and perform in stage productions.

Marissa's background in the arts and heart for ministry uniquely shaped her leadership, communication, and commitment to seeing lives changed through the Gospel. Marissa's favorite outdoor activity is going back inside.
